The unique geological features of Miyoshi have created a one-of-a-kind ecosystem. This natural environment has deeply influenced the local history and culture, resulting in invaluable "treasures" within the Miyoshi Geopark.
We, the local citizens of Miyoshi Geopark, are passionately involved in "Geopark Activities"—discovering these treasures, conserving them for sustainable development, and working to reduce geohazard risks.
Our motto, "Celebrating the Dynamic Nature of Miyoshi and Committed to Sustaining Life Here,” drives us.
